From June 25 to 27, the entire Po River basin will participate in a national civil protection exercise focused on managing hydrogeological and hydraulic risks. This exercise, titled "EXE PO 2026," is coordinated by the Civil Protection Department in collaboration with AIPO (Interregional Agency for the Po River) and the regions of Piemonte, Lombardia, Emilia-Romagna, and Veneto. The activities will be based on a scenario inspired by the historic flood that affected Northwest Italy in October 2000.
